Tuition & Scholarships

Tuition costs at GWU are generally comparable to those of other private institutions, which feature low student/faculty ratios and outstanding educational facilities. For more information on tuition and fees, visit the Students Accounts Office.

Assistantships, traineeships, and fellowships are available for highly ranked applicants. Applicants who request financial aid will be considered for all forms of financial aid available to the Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences. Several criteria including undergraduate grade-point average, courses taken, recommendations, extracurricular activities, and Graduate Record Examination scores are considered in ranking applicants for financial aid.

Financial awards, including stipends and tuition remission, are valued from $3,000 to $42,000. This includes graduate teaching assistantships, Scottish Rite scholarships, and GW fellowships.
