Linda is a clinical educator at the George Washington University in the Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences. She directs the Gender Affirmation Voice Training Program and the Voice Disorders Clinic in the Speech and Hearing Center Prior to coming to George Washington University, Linda had extensive experience performing videostroboscopy, voice evaluations and therapy in otolaryngology practices, voice clinics, hospitals, and university and private practice settings.

She integrates mindfulness practices, yoga, positive psychology, emotional integration, hypnotherapy, Reiki, and a variety of other approaches with traditional voice therapy methodology. Her awareness of the emotional, mental, social, spiritual, behavioral, and experiential factors and how they impact communication influences her approach in working with her clients and students alike.

She is a co-author of the new Plural publication entitled,  Transforming Voice and Communication with Transgender and Gender Diverse People. An Evidence Based Process.

Research interests include gender affirmation voice training approaches and the development and effectiveness of clinical practice of the Mindful Provider in all areas of specialty in all fields.
