Madison Brumbaugh, M.S., CCC-SLP is a speech-language pathologist who specializes in serving pediatric and adult clients with complex communication needs. Madison is licensed to practice speech-language pathology in both Washington, DC and Virginia, and she has worked in a variety of settings, including private practice, home healthcare, and public school settings, since beginning her career in the DMV. 

 
Madison graduated from Georgia State University with master’s degrees in Educational Research and Communication Sciences and Disorders and is currently pursuing a PhD in Translational Health Sciences at GW. She is also an alumna of ASHA’s Leadership Mentoring Program, a current ASHA Grasstops Envoy, the former Vice President of Governmental and Professional Affairs for the Speech-Language-Hearing Association of Virginia, and the current Chair of the Professional Affairs in Speech-Language Pathology Committee for the DC Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Madison is passionate about advocacy and public policy and also volunteers with the Virginia-based nonprofit, the Organization for Autism Research, and has collaborated with other national nonprofits, such as Apraxia Kids and the National Stuttering Association, to write state-level proclamations for awareness days and events.
