Clone of Clinical Services

As a university-based facility, the Speech and Hearing Center offers access to the latest research and cutting-edge procedures in the profession. All supervisory staff hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA).

Community Services

The center also offers special community service activities facilitated by GW faculty, including literacy clinics, hearing screenings, voice screenings, intensive workshops in transgender voice and accent modification and a camp for children with childhood apraxia of speech.

CHAMP Camp

Offered during the summer, the Childhood Apraxia and Motor Planning™ (CHAMP) Camp brings children and parents together for individual and group therapy and fun activities.

Speech Therapy Intensives

Intensives are two-day to three-day experiences at the GW Speech and Hearing Center that include multiple individual therapy sessions per day.
